Teddy Pressburg Opens for George Clinton

Teddy Presberg (born November 20, 1979) is an American guitarist, composer and bandleader.

First coming to prominence as a sideman on Garett Brennan's Keep It Simple / Clif Bar Tour in 2005, Presberg has since recorded 3 solo albums and enjoys a cult following. His debut album "Blueprint of Soul" was released by Ropeadope Records in 2007. Presberg is known for his improvisation compositional technique- a method of composing music in one-take and on the spot; and which he attributes to his study of Jack Kerouac. KDHX[1] describes Presberg's guitar technique as "Like a storyteller, he spins effortless yarns written in jazz and punctuated with funk, calling for his listeners to follow him on his journey. Fresh and fluid yet rooted and evocative, his music simply tries to say what he feels must be said."

Los Angeles Arboretum -- Ingress Player's Perspective

As many of you know, we have been playing Ingress (Beta) since November. This game has got me out and about all over Southern California capturing portals, linking them and making fields.

Another byproduct of playing is sharing photographic memories of some of the best places we have visited thus far. Absolutely my favorite place is the L.A. Arboretum, which is in Arcadia. This photo was shared through Stipple which I would like to incorporate more in my posts because of the convenience in getting the "alt" tags properly inserted and photo attribution.

I still have a few *InviteCodes for #Ingress if you choose #Enlightened faction!!! :))

Video: Nathalie Makoma -- African Diva (Congo)

Happy Friday, Family,

This video comes to me today all the way from the Sudan. People have commented that I just post videos here anymore and there is not much actual text. Those comments did not get approved, but they are true. Barely have time to post the videos and this one needs no explaining why I love Nathalie Makoma's voice and presence.

The original video for this post was removed from YouTube and I just found this one today, which is even better.

How about that hair?

Have fun,
GranGoddessa
